Robert and Christine C. decided timeshare travel was right for them in 1996. They had a young daughter, and their heart was in Whistler, Canada.
“We chose vacation ownership because we appreciated the point system’s flexibility and not being locked into a set week, but for years we never wanted to go to any other resort if it meant not visiting Whistler,” explained Christine.

“We love Whistler’s beautiful scenery, great food, diverse culture and abundant year-round activities. One of my favorite memories is coming down on the quad chair and singing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ with my daughter,” Christine recalled.

Since then, the couple has enjoyed their ownership’s flexibility, including the Destination Xchange program, and explored well beyond Whistler. “We’ve visited Palm Desert, Puerto Vallarta, Cocoa Beach, Florida, Bethel, Maine, Massanutten and Williamsburg, Virginia, and Newport, Rhode Island. Of many memorable memories, my favorite is seeing all the Christmas lights in Newport,” shared Christine.
As new North Carolina residents, they’ve enjoyed discovering new pockets of the East Coast. Next up in their travel queue is Newport, Rhode Island, to make Christmas memories, and Myrtle Beach for some beach time.
