Welcome to my 1-Bedroom Suite at Elara, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club. I’m so excited to share the details of my Las Vegas trip.
I kicked off my solo tour with a two-night stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the guest relations team was friendly and helpful. I scanned my key card at the elevator desk and headed to my room.
The largest welcome sign I’d ever seen greeted me as I walked through the door. It was a full-wall projector with my name on it, giving me the larger-than-life Las Vegas vibes. I felt like a VIP.
It’s hard to describe the sheer size of this room; words and pictures simply don’t do it justice.
Start in the kitchen to see the side-by-side French-door-style fridge, which was bigger than my fridge at home. It’s perfect for stocking up on a week's worth of groceries and meal planning. The kitchen also has a cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot and toaster. I found all the utensils, cookware and table service items I needed to make it my home away from home.
The spacious living room had a huge, beautiful sectional couch, a flat-screen TV and the above-mentioned massive projector screen for watching TV and movies or browsing the hotel information and amenities. The creative lighting and open layout made it an inviting place to relax after the fast pace of the day. The bedroom had a luxurious king-size bed, a sitting area with views of the city and a spa tub I could’ve happily soaked in all day. It was easily big enough for two people to enjoy.
The bathroom has separate stalls for the shower and facilities, a double sink and a combination washer and dryer. There were also toiletries, linens and cleaning supplies. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Though the visit was a whirlwind, I did two of my favorite activities. I just had to find delicious food and take in a show. I dined in luxury at Tea Lounge at Waldorf Astoria and enjoyed epic views, scrumptious treats and the perfect pot of tea. Every sip and bite was a pure delight.
I was then thrilled by the excitement of seeing a concert in Las Vegas. The music, set, sound, costumes, performers and the incredible Katy Perry made it a night to remember. Her show “Play” was ridiculously fun and, of course, playful.
My Elara room brought the Las Vegas wow factor, and I loved every minute of my time there. I’ll return in January for my birthday celebration. I can’t wait for even more Elara adventures.
